Which Hoilday Inn Express might I ask??? My sister stayed at one out in Suffolk and lets just say there were roaches in the room!YUCK! They spent most of there wedding nite in the car and could not wait to leave the next day.
We are staying at The Marriot in Uniondale- they have a nice package, you might want to c heck this option out.

Although Garden City may be a little ways away, I am sure we will be catching a flight from JFK, so it will be closer.

We chose GC Hotel also

even if it's aways away, I think it's worth it..

We decided to go to the Danfords in Port Jefferson. We're also getting married in Oakdale and will have a bunch of OOT guests that will need rooms. So we picked PJ as our base cause it only 20 minutes away. Danfords has rooms with fireplaces overlooking the harbor and from their website they look really nice. We haven't seen it live, but will be there in a couple of weeks.Danfords

Garden City hotel without a doubt...I know their website says their 'honeymoon' suite is $350-500. I know though that if they have openings they will almost always comp you...had 3 friends get comped for free. Also ask your Reception hall if they know of hotels that they endorse...my aunt got married at harbour club in northport and they gave her a free night at the garden city hotel for wedding night when she booked!

I was thinking about blocking rooms there for OOT guests. Does anyone know if they have a nice honeymoon suite? It would be nice to stay at the same place as our guests. I also heard they have a nice brunch the next day. Anyone heard of that?
