blue flowers
I wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions for blue flowers (not light blue or teal, not purple/lavender) My dresses are royal blue. I was hoping to have an all-blue bouquet with either a tall stem and just 1 type of flower, or a cascading/teardrop bouquet. I have a beachy theme so the more tropical and exotic looking the better (not looking for dyed roses or carnations or anything like that)Any suggestions?

Re: blue flowers
yep, id ask for darker blue delphiniums. they may work out nicely for you. i had some in my bo-k but the slightly lighter variety.ill see if i can find any pics of other blue flowers...
eta: here's darker blue delphiniums, albeit kinda messy bo-k so ignore that (with white stephanotis too, personally not a fan)

Re: blue flowers
these may all be too light for you but just thought id share, some look beachy to me. all really prettyA mix of blue hydrangea, delphinium, and white lilies
this one even has seashells mixed in
Sky blue and creamy white roses star in this bridal bouquet. Although blue roses don't exist in nature, floral suppliers dye blossoms in a range of blue hues -- from navy to pale blue.
Rising from petite bulbs in early spring, blue-purple grape hyacinths have a sweet perfume and dainty appearance. A blue ribbon handle brings out the color of the blossoms.
Grape hyacinths add 'something blue' to the white roses, tulips, bouvardia, and alstroemeria that make up this bouquet. --

I'm using different shades of hydrangeas and they come in all different kinds of blue.
i
hydrangeas. we used them for our cp. but decided no in boks bc the florist said for hot august heat they can become very limp very quickly (we had outdoor ceremony) without a watersource which can make boks heavy.

Hydrangeas are beautiful. You can use them in your CP. I used them in my BoK for the BM and it was not the right thing to do . They wilted very quickily looked awful it was not even that hot.
They don't fair well out of water for too long.
I did see these flowers in the city over the wknd and thought they were HOT

lucky for me it will be January so I don't have to worry about the heat. My florist says as long as we wrap the bo'qs in something damp or put them in those plastic water things (at the bottom) then we'll be ok.

Re: blue flowers
if by chance we did do dyed flowers is there a chance it can possibly rub off at all on the dresses?that is what i'm afraid of having big blue spots or streaks on the dresses
