Boudoir Photo Shoot

So about 2 weeks ago I bought a Groupon for a boudoir photo shoot. I am still far from my goal weight but im thinking of doing it in June to give some photo's to my FH as a gift the morning of our wedding. Did any one else do a boudoir shoot or planning on doing it? I am kinda nervous lol

Do it!!! I heard it's the most freeing experience. it builds confidence for your big day (especially if you're shy) I'm definitely doing it

I just did mine this past thursday & plan for FH to get it the morning of the wedding. I got some teasers and they are all flattering. I'm not ad my ideal weight but it was a great experience & i HIGHLY suggest it!

I bought one on Groupon also but forgot about it so I lost out on it I plan on doing it as part of DH's Christmas Gifts or Birthday Gifts this year through a photographer that my make-up artist recommended - Susan Eckert.

Be prepared to shell out a lot of money to get your prints. That groupon includes 1 low resolution unretouched print.

My friend was pissed after she did that. They purposely make it so you need to pay for retouching, or they do it anyways and charge you for it. Plus anything additional besides that 1 print starts at $199.

Be prepared to walk away with just a 'glamor shots' head shot

IM Photo studio was a little expensive too I'm going to look around.


They have Groupons all the time. Though I don't know how much over the groupon you'll have to pay. :/

I saw the groupon but I thought the same thing as Jen just said about the retouching. If I'm going to be half naked I want retouching done lol

Yea I figured that, I got the groupon that included 2 pics and the CD. I figured without the groupon it would cost me a lot somewhere else. At least with this I get my hair and makeup done and my 2 pics and whatever I pay on top of that iI am ok with (within reason of course lol)

Under no circumstance's would I recommend using the place you are referring to in Miller Place, I just had my boudoir photo shoot done there and ended up spending $900 on 10 photos. My suggestion is to call your wedding photographer and see if they do the boudoir shoots. Just chalk the Groupon up to a loss. If I bought 6 photos it still would have been $850 with retouching.

I highly recommend Blondie Boudoir!! She is affordable and then I used picaboo to make a book from the cd of images that was included in my package!

Man that's crazy.....I really only wanted the two pics.....Honestly if I don't loose any more weight I will def just chock it up as a loss for sure.
