Re: Bridal Expo at Nassau Coliseum
I went and was really disappointed. I thought it would be so much better. What really bothered me was that they said you had to be there to win a raffle. Well I waited around all day until the end just to hear the raffles called. All the people that were not there still won. They said they were going to call them last night. Atleast I won something. I won a night at the Marriot with dinner and breakfast in the morning. I might call to complain .

I went too and got up early expecting it to be crowded and full of vendors. I was happy with the vendors that were there, but it was a LOT smaller than I expected too. The layout was NOTHING like the floor plan they showed online. I wanted to leave and come back, but the parking ticket was not valid for re-entry so I couldn't even do that. I wasn't thrilled with the whole thing. Oh, they totally didn't check my pre-reg either. I could have not even paid and just got in. It was definitely less than I expected. I told WM that I wasn't booked either to get a tote as well, but it didn't work. They gave me a menu instead, but I did scam a tote later. LOL! Hey, they were cute totes-I had to do it.![]()
I am glad I got there early enough to not pay parking. If there are 10 brides on here that went, it seemed like we ruled the place!

Re: Bridal Expo at Nassau Coliseum
Oh my goodness I was so angry with that show!!!! I spoke to the woman who was running it on the phone and she told me to get there BEFORE 9 AM because there were so many brides going.. Well I got there at 8:50 and proceeded to WAIT until 10 AM to get in! The information on their website was completely wrong and things were totally unorganized.I was looking forward to the seminars and ended up only seeing one of them. They were WAY behind schedule too. I pre-registered as well and they did not even have my name at the table which made me mad. It was okay all in all, but very disappointing. I did REALLY like the WM bad!! So cute! And I did get a really cute stuffed fox from the Foxhollow table!
I got to make a few appointments to see reception locations but other than that it was terribly unorganized!

I say that we should all call to at least get a comp for the show in March.

They charged you to attend??
10 Dollars and did not even hand out tickets.
YES i was very upset about this as well!!!!
Also they made is seem like U HAD to register b4 hand.... so that u can get a bag.
I THOUGHT i was going to get this HUGE BAG of goodies.... but it was smaller than the other vendors.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11![]()
I'm sorry it stunk and appeared to have been a waste of $ and time! But privately, I'm now thankful I was too lazy to fill out that 4 page registration form and send it in.
