Bridal Reflections?

I went to Bridal Reflections in Massapequa to look for gowns and they were really nice. I have not ordered yet, but i fell in love with 2 dresses. What was your experience or what have you heard?

Hi! I was in my cousins bridal party and we ordered our dresses at Bridal Reflections. The seamstress was awesome and everyone there was very friendly but check out how much they charge for alterations and for additional sizes. If you have any plus size girls they charge for each additional size over I think a 14 that adds up!! Other than that they were very nice. The place where I had a really bad experience was Burtons - they ordered the dress too small no time to reorder and the seamstress told me I got fat --- Good Luck!!

Shop around because they are a bit pricey and you can probably get your dress cheaper somewhere else.

I thought the prices were reasonable and I've heard they do the best coctail hour around!!

Hi its me again. I forgot to mention to try Adriennes Bridal in Islip. I called and they were very sweet. I also posted a message on here looking for feedback and I received nothing but rave reviews. It also seems like they will discount dresses depending on the # of girls. I am going there in two weeks. they have a website too www.adriennesbridal.com. The woman who owns it used to be a desinger of bridal gowns. Good Luck!!

Thanks Guys..that was my whole issue the $$ involved with the extra center pieces!! I was leaning towards not having one! with my wedding right up on top of me (15 days) money is tight, and what I might have thought to do before, is impossible at this point!! With one on the vendors table I guess I can ensure that my Mom gets to take on home!!

Bridal Reflections?

I went back to the Bridal Reflections store today and I ordered my dress. I had a tough decision between two gowns but I went with a Stephen Yearick. We looked at bridesmaids as well I liked a Jim Helm. Does anyone know if thse are good bridesmaids dresses. They seem almost too popular! Thanks for the responses back to me. I know that this store is a little bit more expensive, but I feel safe there. They have been there for over 25 years. Thanks and good luck!

IT WAS GREAT!! Paul, who usually is very uncomfortable on the dance floor, was laughing and having a great time! I highly recommend it for anyone who is uncomfortable dancing - its great for building confidence!

And we finally chose a song too - for those who are familiar with Jim Brickman, its called "Your Love" on the Destiny album. The track BEFORE the title song.....

HI!!. I wore a Jim Helm dress for my cousins wedding. The dress was made beautifully but I thought it was pricey.. I am not a size 8 so they charged me some ridiculous price for each size over a 12 (of course when they measure you it is alot bigger than what you really are). My dress with alterations and the additional sizes was close to $400. I think that is alot (We bought them at Bridal Reflections) Make sure you find out the additional size charge if you have any larger girls in your bridal party (larger than a 12 or 14 I think) and how much alterations are - I dont remember if Bridal Reflections had a cap on alteration charges. I never expected it to be ready so soon! Even though the dress was a little big it didnt need too much alterations (it still cost me 75$)
