Bubble Caps

Gosh, I am sooooo sorry to post so many messages about these damn bubbles. : (

But I have another question! (and I'm also slowly losing my mind......)

I went to Party City in Stony Brook to buy them and found the caps to be very difficult to remove. I really couldn't get them off - they were the once w/the single dove. That would be bad for little kids and older family members w/arthritis.

DONT BE SORRY - I AM SURE MOST OF US FEEL LIKE WE ARE LOOSING OUR MINDS. I WOULD BE AFRAID OF THE BUBBLES STAINING MY LAST 2 FRIENDS THAT GOT MARRIED USED TULLE POUCHES WITH ROSE PETALS INSIDE. THEY LOOKED SO PRETTY IN THE PICTURES. SINCE MY CEREMONY IS INSIDE THE RECEPTION HALL, I JUST BOUGHT TINY BELLS TO RING WITH THIS CUTE SAYING ON IT.

The Carltun and Carlyle On The Green are owned by the same people. Great reputation, but expensive. Very pretty for a spring/summer wedding.

Bubble Caps & STaining

The Knot sent me an email stating that their bubbles were non-toxic and non-staining. Not all of them say that....I'm hoping there's truth in advertising! : )

Would you mind explaining the tulle pouches? I was thinking of doing paper cones (martha stewart did them) with rose petals inside-- but your comment about the pictures sounds great How were they made? were they tulle bags? any info would be great thanks laura

We ordered our wedding rings tonight. They'll be ready in 10 days. We used the same jeweler we purchased our engagement ring from....he's done business w/my cousin for over a decade so we trust him.

Paul chose a relatively plain band w/detail on the edge - yellow gold. Cost $70. Mine? Well, in order to match my engagement ring, it is a relatively thin white gold w/7 princess cut diamonds across the center. Cost? $550. Sooooooooooo much more than I wanted to spend but within our budget b/c Paul's was simple & inexpensive. Paying cash - no tax.

i may have used the wording in describing. it was more like netting that we cut into circles, filled with rose petals and then tied pretty ribbon around it into a bow - they were really easy to make, and we used different color rose petals (white/red/yellow/pink) - so you saw the colors thru the netting.

By the way - I noticed you chose Full House for your band - I was also interested in them. If possible could you please forward me any info. you may have or any recommendations for other bands. Thanks!!!

Avoid the hassle and stay away. Anyone know a good favor store?
