I love that Lladro, but just to let you know, it's probably too big to be a cake topper, it would fall right through the cake. It's a full size Lladro, so it might be too big and too heavy for the top of the cake but they might be able to put in next to the cake. They only really make one cake topper size Lladro, I'll see if I can find a pic

But if I do end up getting it, I'll probably put it next to the cake.. it might still look good - and still serve as a keepsake ;)

It's very pretty, but if it's not 'you' why don't you keep looking around for something that is?

There are lots of personalized ones you can get that can still act as a keepsake and would feel more like you and your FH.

FYI - ebay always has lots of reasonable Lladros - some people don't really seem to know what they are worth. I know I've seen that one before, so if you decide to go with it, I would check that out first. If you know the name of the figure you can search by that, because just putting Lladro in gets you, like, 10,000 hits.

I love, love LOVE this figure but am afraid its out of my budget...when does Lladro go on sale? I didn't think it ever did!!! Can you please tell me if you know of a place that has them on sale? I'm obsessing over it!

I love it I have a lladro as well. I think you should go for it. Unfortunately they do not go on sale very often.

Lladros never go on sale.

Also check out the size -- you don't want it to fall through the cake!! Lladros are not usually used as cake toppers as they are too delicate to have around in the reception hall. I suggest you register for it. I gave my best friend one for her shower -- but I got it for her in Spain --- and this one is pricier. It is also a collectors edition so not everyone can get it...

To ensure that your lladro does not fall through the cake all you have to do is ask them to put a wooden base layer on the top of your cake. This way it doesn;t matter how heavy it is. This is what I plan to do. Good Luck!

i absolutely love that one - and i am trying to convince my mom to buy it for me - there is a place in Huntington that sells them pretty close to wholesale place - it is in a house so it has no markings of a store - it is right on park ave just south of 25A - across the stre from the kissam house - i don't the name but my mom gets lladro's there cheap
