I am trying to make a decision on a calligrapher which i should make a decision this week after getting a sample in teh mail. After that i am sending them to the calligrapher & once they get back I am going to stuff them & send them back. RSVP date is Oct 1 & I want to send them out by the end of the month.

I'd like to have the invitations out no later than next Wednesday. Our RSVP is October 1st so I want people to have the invites in their hainds by September 1st.

I think we are going for our marriage license November 1st... I have the day off of school so it seems like a good day to go

I am sending mine out this weekend because my wedding is on thanksgiving weekend and I didn't send out saves the dates. I have an rsvp date of Oct. 15th.

Yea, we plan on sending our's out around the 15th of September.

I was just curious, thanks

I am the day before you, and I am sending them at the same time. I am very nervous though. I put my response date on Nov. 1, thinking it would be enough time for me but I didn't look at my calendar

to see that I have to have final numbers in by the 4th!

I don't want to send them out too early because then people put them to the side, but I want to get those responses in early.

That sounds good....and when are you all going for the marriage license?

We're probably going to go for our marriage license about 1 month before......I dont have my birth certificate right now because I had to apply for a passport for the HM. But, as soon as the birth certificate comes back, we are going to go.

How about you?

I am also going early Nov. You don't need your birth certificate. I heard from many people that all they need is your license.

You have a good point, I don't want to send them out too early but I heard from many people you should mail them 6-8 weeks prior to the response date.

Don't worry, I'm sure you'll be okay...it's only off by a few days not by much.
