Today we just went to look at bm and moh dresses...booked my make up artist...finished my DIY...booked all the major vendors(i think)

I think that's right. Late June send out invites and August 30th response date.

- I know more people do 6 weeks, but I thought 4 would be plenty - I'm having a fairly small wedding, approx 100 invited. I just figure people will forget about responding if they get them way before the response date. Just my opinion, though!!

I'm doing 6 weeks because the hotel block closes 4 weeks before my date. I want those two weeks to call people (if need be) and remind them the hotel block closes.

the only things left are to block the hotel rooms! I've almost 80% done with the BM's gifts and i can't do my favors until september (they're edible and i don't want them melting on me

). And in a few months i'll get the FG dreses, which i already have picked out.

I'm going to send out my invites the first week of July with an RSVP of August 16. exactly one month before the big day

Ok girls , where are we with our planning

My honeymoon is booked! gown , veil , and tiara are ordered. I still have to book limo (drop off/pick up) and I really need to get moving on invitations.
my guestlist is somewhat finalized and I have everyone's addresses. two out of four of my BM's have ordered their gowns. Hair and Makeup for me is booked! DIY cake topper done.

Still need:
my passport
favors
wedding bands
shoes
rehearsal dinner
invites and limos -mentioned above
Bridal party gifts

How is everyone else doing?

--to finalize invite wording and font
--choose readings
--order programs
--buy undergarments and shoes
--buy gifts for bridal pary and parents
--find a place to live!!
--get baptismal certs
--precana (this wknd!)
--finalize bedding

There is probably more but I'm blanking. gotta love all these little things!

Right now we are working on picking invitations. This has been a daunting task

We've been house hunting and tomorrow will have a home inspection done on a house we bid on, so the house hunting has sort of taken over. We will be ordering favors within the coming weeks and finalizing bridal party gifts. We still have to finishing paying everyone off and do the smaller stuff (must play/do not play music list, entrance songs, pics of FH and I for video)

ETA: We also have to start percana, do programs, menus, OOT guest boxes..and the list goes on and on and on..............

Must take photo list, picture location in case of rain, pick ceremony readings, order our cake, all my DIY projects - there are A LOT - I plan on having MANY little decorative details. I am slightly stressed over the bridal party & parent gifts. All my major stuff is done and so are invites, rings, favors

I still have so much to do. Table numbers, bathroom baskets, order favors, limos, honeymoon, book hair, programs, menus, FH's wedding band, groomsmen gifts, personalized mints. And then the other things I will only remember last minute!

We just ordered the invites with an RSVP of Aug. 22, 2006. Giving people one month to respond.

All I have left:

Rings (picking out this month)
My jewelry
BM gifts and jewelry
FG gifts (she's picking out her own dress)
order favors (they're all picked out)

I think that's it!
