Yes, you can pay each week. When you sign up you also get 3 'missed week' passes that gets renewed every six months (I think). So if you are on vacation, or just don't make it for some reason, you don't have to pay, as long as you don't miss more than 3x in that time period. You can also go to meetings at any center. Once you reach your goal weight, you don't have to pay anymore.

I shopped around for a little while for a good meeting until I found a leader I liked and have stuck with that meeting for about 1.5 years

For in person meetings, you can pay as you go or you can get coupon pkg that gives you a couple of dollar discount per week. If you miss your meeting, you can go to any other WW mtg that week and get weighed in. If you miss a week, you still pay the fee for the week you miss. In person they also give you silly little perks like recipe cards etc. I am sure you can get all of that online too.....

Just a side note --my best friend joined Weight Watchers about 2 years ago--looks FABULOUS!!! Based on her results-I would recommend it to anyone!!

I am doing WW and since Sept lost almost 20 lbs. I switch back and fourth from flex to core. My weight has stalled since the holidays so I got a trainer and am on Core now I have lost 3lbs this week alone. Good luck and if you start a WW chat I am in. -Cara

Thanks, I really think it's a good idea. I had no idea how many of you girls were doing weight watchers. I definetly need the meetings to keep me going but I think talking to other girls about it would help too.

WW is the story of my life, Ive been on and off it since I was a senior in High School. It really is easy to follow and becomes more of a lifestyle change. A GREAT website is www.dwlz.com There are links for different restaurants and menus with their points and recipes.. Good Luck!!

I have to jump on the bandwagon and say that Weight Watchers is a fantastic program, and the only one that's ever worked for me. It really teaches you a new lifestyle that's sustainable, and there are no 'prohibited' foods, which makes it a whole lot easier, I think. Sometimes you just have to have a piece of cake, you know?

Okay I called but I missed the meeting by my house tonight so Im going tommorow. It's $10.95 per week and it's a pay as you go program. Until March 5th there is no registration fee($15) all you pay is the $10.95. She said in my area I would get 3 missed week passes. You have to go 30min. prior to your first meeting and the meeting lasts 35-40min. but the first time you have to stay after to go over everything. Im gonna give the points program a shot. I'll let you know how it goes tommorow. Thanks Girls.

Aw, you'll be fine. WW is not a diet, so I think you'll be surprised. You can do two different plans, the points plan or the no counting plan. I do the points system. Each type of food is assigned a certain amount of points for a certain portion. You are alotted a certain amount of points per day depending on your weight and you just eat that many points a day. It's really simple and after a while, you know exactly what you can eat for how many points and you don't even have to check it. I've lost about 40 pounds since September on it and I don't even go to the meetings. hope that helped!
