I love that and was going to also suggest this...I saw it in a catalogue over the weekend and thought, man if I was having a winter wedding...

I personally like the candelabra but mostly because what would you do with the ornament stands when the wedding is over? With the candelabra you could keep the box under the table and then give them away to one guest per table.

I think the idea of the ornament stand is cute though. Very different. Maybe just have them boxed up at each place setting instead?

I do like your ornament stand...I'm just a sucker for candles....(I voted for the candles) Those that you pictured...I'm almost positive.....THEY REQUIRE A SMALLER SIZE CANDLE, IT'S A 'FLOATING' CANDLE THAT YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO FILL THE STEM WITH WATER & HALF WAY UP THE BOWL AREA...

Yeah... I was going to put the tapered candle (just for the color) in the stem but fill it with water and use a floating candle
