Centerpieces
I saw a great idea for centeroieces in a MArtha Stewart magazine and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I want to have a charger plate with thick pillar candles in the middle of my table, and then in front of everyone's plate I want to place a crystal bowl, with floating gardenias in them. It was very elegant, but I am wondering where I can get the chargers and candles..Do I go through the florist I choose to decorate, or do I do it on my own. I haven't picked a florist yet, so any suggestions would be fantastic. I have heard the Shorham florist is great.

Centerpieces
You might want to price them on your own. Try a craft store or check on line. Alot of the times the florist rents them themselves and that costs more. You can also allow your guest to take them home as favors if you buy them yourself. I know that last week Michaels craft store had pillars and chargers on sale. Check there. This way you can have your favors/centerpieces in one shot. I am doing something similar. Simple centerpieces are included in my package at the hall. I wanted to add a little pzaz. I priced upgrading my centerpieces to include a candleabra - HELLO - $100 per table. I priced candle stick holders (through Stephanie at Classic Favors) and I can get candle stick holders for the tables at about $15 per table. The guests can take them home. I think it is a great idea!!!!
