Ceremony Readings& Passages

Does anyone have any suggestions for passages to be read during the wedding ceremony? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Nora - Did you take Pre-cana

Beer across america is at www.beeramerica.com

I think that is a gift that most guys will appreciate:) For the kids there are lots of things you can do from something as simple as a goodie bag, or you can get them some outdoor type toys. A cute thing to do for a spring/summer wedding would be to buy little pails and fill them with small age appropriate toys and maybe a lolipop too. You could even write their names on them in paint pen.

Ceremony Readings& Passages

I took pre-cana and my deacon gave us a thick booklet with readings but they are the same tired onesyou hear all the time. He virtually told us that the Old Testaent reading is the hardest because it's all sexist and the brides just don't have that kind of "thinking" anymore....obviously he knows his Bible, so maybe you could talk to the person who's marrying you and they can help you find a good reading.

My fiance and I really enjoyed our pre-cana experience. Even though we know each other really well and have talked about all of the important issues, I think it was really useful to have to articulate our feelings again. We also were able to spot a few things that we needed to work on. Whether your experience is good or bad has alot to do with your attitude going in and also the other couples in your group and the group leaders.

I hope you have an enjoyable experience. Best of luck with your wedding plans, Deirdre
