We have changed plans. When don't we do this?? LOL
We are going to have a Hawaiian theme BBQ. Since we are going to HI for our HM, it fit perfectly. We are putting it off for a bit to prepare and get everything together.

This post is just to funny, because just the other day...FH and I are having the same exact BBQ. We sent out invites that said 'Hawaiian Shirts Required', because it is a BBQ with the Hawaiian Theme'. Fh then said to me 'It is as if we are having 'another' BP GTG, because it is all the same people that were invited to our E-party'. I said, 'no' I just want to have a BBQ with Friends and most of our BP is our friends. So with that said, I will share with you what we are doing...

Menu: For starters some chips & dip and Veggie tray. Dinner will be Hamburgers, Hot dogs (will all the trimmings), & grilled chicken with BBQ sauce. Home made salads - potatoe and claw slaw. Corn on the cob from a local LI farm (yummy). Baked beans which are really easy to make. FH if you want recipe. I am getting most of all this food from Costco (bulk & cheap). Then we will have a bar with beer, Mike's, wine coolers, and soda. I have very large coolers, so it will be stored in there for easy access for the guest. Desert will be a nice big fruit salad and this great blueberry crumb cake that I make. Some of our friends even offered to cook some things, so I just told them feel free to bring whatever you like. We have a pool as well, so I am sure at the end of the night when everyone has had a few in them, we will start jumping in the pool. Oh, also... for the invites- I got these really really cool ones from Party supply place (they can be found at Party City) that are made by 'Razzle Invites' and they say 'It's a BBQ' and on the front is has this BBQ with confetti in it of little hotdogs and burgers... Very cute!
