CIBONEY- OCHO RIOS, JAMAICA

I just wanted to let you all know that my fiance and I just got back from a pre-wedding honeymoon in Jamaica. Ciboney in Ocho Rios is GREAT!!! Getting there is a bit of a pain since it is 2 hours from the airport, but the rooms, food, drinks, beach and pools were OUTRAGEOUS!!! And, not that expensive to boot. It was $1300 each for a week and it is all-inclusive. They offer a complimentary massage, pedicure and manicure, and top shelf liquor.

Only problem we had was with the charters. Charter flights are NEVER on-time. And, you have to take a shuttle to the beach, but it comes every 10 minutes and you really can walk. Jamaica is very hilly, so if you aren't the athletic type, you are better off taking the shuttle. We never waited more than 5 minutes.

We stayed in a jr. villa with a shared pool with 4 other rooms... Max 8 people, but since it wasn't crowded and we went with friends it was only the 4 of us. There is so much to do, you are rarely in your room anyway. The private pool is a nice touch for midnight swims.
