I want to attend mine. I spoke with my photo guy and set up my times to leave plenty of time for photos. I told him I am done with pictures at 7:00pm!!

we will have enough time between the church and cocktail hour for pictures so we are thinking about going. Part of me wants to stay hidden to make my grand entrance later on, but the other part of me would like to see the cocktail hour and be able to say hello to most people then and not have to do it all later on.

We are taking pictures before the ceremony - well at least a majority of them. I want to be at some of the cocktail hour.

We are definetely planning on attending our cocktail hour, that room was a big part of us choosing flowerfield- so we want to be there!

we will not be attending our cocktail hour. i want everyone discussing, 'what does she look like?' 'I cant wait to see them' lol Im semi joking but since we are having a HUGE guest list we are extending the reception an extra hour.

I plan on attending mine, FI really does not want to miss it...I think the food will be too good to miss and this might be the best opportunity to actually eat something that day.

I am MOST DEFINITELY attending my cocktail hour! Basically I'm going to do the recieving line outside of the church, take all the pictures with the families and wedding party before the cocktail hour so I can attend my party!!!

I absolutely refuse to miss mine not only for the food, but it is also a good time to mingle with your guests and get a chance to talk to everyone to try and enjoy the rest of the night. My cousin said that was the best thing they did when she had her wedding.

We'll definitely be at ours!! We want to eat the food-why should we miss out, and its a chance to get some helo and thank yous out of the way before the reception! Our ceremony is at 2:30 and the CH is at 7:00 so we have plenty of time for pics in between.

Looks like I'm a minority.

I'll be in the bridal suite with my BP, but Russos has a really nice set up and bring everything in from the CH that you want for you and your party.

I guess I am kind of doing it for the Grand Entrance......

I am definitely not missing my cocktail hour. That is the best food!!

Also I want to be able to enjoy my reception and dance the night away..... I think its rude not to be in your cocktail hour ....

My FH and i really dont want to miss cocktail hour but there is a good chance we'll miss most of it b/c of pictures. Our photographer has done many shots at our reception hall and knows where to put you for the best shots sooo I am keeping my fingers crossed that he'll get us back to our cocktail hour as quickly as possible.

I'm going to attend my CH. My rationale is: I've paid for it, I'm going to it! Plus we have a huge guest list (big families) so I'm going to take that time to go around and greet everyone so once we go into the reception room I don't have to go from table to table and I can just relax and enjoy it!
