Thanks for all the compliments. We wanted something very different. We started out with a whole 'sand and sea' thing (browns with blue accents), and we knew we definitely wanted to bring the water inside the ballroom somehow. I went through a bunch of magazine pictures with John, and he came up with this.

Someone asked how many flowers-- I think he said that he cut up two orchids to fill the three vases.

Putting fish in the CPs definitely crossed our minds, but we were too worried that some might die during (or even before) the reception-- how could you get them out of there? And if you couldn't get them out of there, it might have quite an adverse affect on people's appteites ;)
