I hate the cold - wouldn't want my day to be on a cold day - thats why i picked June - also didnt want everyone else to melt in the summer!!!

I could never imagin, I'd freak out, People are questioning us about snow in Nov. but it hasn't snowed that early in Nov. in years

we got 'oh boy' from some people about our November wedding. meanwhile, it ended up being 68 degrees and sunny on my wedding day!

wow, I'd be freaked out if 30 people canceled on me.... considering the circumstnaces that's not a bad ratio, but looking at the expense of 30 ppl makes me cringe.... maybe Russo's had pity on her?

According to a friend of this bride's family (who FH knows) Russo's was actually really considerate to this couple. They didnt get held to their minimum and Russo's actually gave them some $ back.

Myabe I should reconsider my date, even if it doesn't snow on the wedding day the ground might be sloppy and groos like it is today and will be for quite sometime,

Our wedding is on the 25th of November.. I pray for no snow but I am getting some remarks about it being on Thanksgiving weekend.. the way I see it, who ever shows up are the people that mean the most to us..

oh my goodness! seriously.. if i was one of her guests (depending on how close i am) i would seriously consider canceling. it was just too dangerous and such a hassle. i am still sore from shoveling 2 days in a row. and will probably shovel again later today.

The groom that got married is my FSIL's cousin...My FBIL & FSIL went to the wedding & everything went smoothly! Russo's was more the accommodating & all the cook's were there without a problem!

My FSIL said people were calling the groom that morning asking him to cancel!!! In my opinion, that is just rude! Looks like more then none got there & were able to celebrate with Charlie & Michelle!!!

Congrats to the newlyweds!!!

They will definately have a story to tell to their children & grandchildren!

30 people cancelling - that's bad - at least in my honest opinion, about $5,000 bad. That's not so much a 'drop in the bucket.' But hey, she wanted it then even when her father insisted, and she got what she wanted right?

Had she listedn to daddy, they would have broken pretty even in another month....

I agree..if 30 guarantees cancelled the day of...I'd be thinking of a waste of $$$!
