We did! Its only right that they do this - someone has to be held liable if your asking for a room to be reserved. Business is Business for these hotels, especially if you are reserving one of the better, busier hotels.....its tends to be their policy

I blocked rooms at the Hilton in Ft. Lee and the Super 8 in Mid-town Manhattan. The Super 8 asked for a cc# but , I was not surprised because of it being in mid-town.

When we looked at East Wind, they told us they would need a credit card if we wanted to block off rooms.

i only had to give a credit card to hold my bridal suite... other than that- im not responsible for the rooms.

I gave my credit card when I was blocking rooms at The Holiday Inn Express on 347

I blocked rooms at the Best Western Woodbury and the Executive Inn at Woodbury and neither one asked for a credit card.

I booked rooms at the Inn at Fox Hollow and I did have to give my cc# to hold only the bridal suite, as I have it for 2 nights.Welcome New Vendors
