Before....my dress is white satin and I bought white satin shoes....I'm assuming they'll match.

My shoes are also silver. I bought them before the dress came in. I love them!

I purchased my dress first with shoes i'd planned on wearing, now i am looking to buy shoes (mine were colored shoes i wore for my commencement ball and love however my mother is adament i wear white - its not worth fighting over so I am looking for comfortable/cute white shoes now)

it's hard to have shoes before you know what will match your gown.

I was told to buy my shoes and slip so I have them for my first fitting. I suppose I could go 'visit' my dress again when it comes in but would rather get this done ahead of time than at the last minute..I'm liking the idea of silver shoes!

I asked for a swatch of the dress right after I ordered it- it may not match perfectly but it's close enough- my dress is called gold (looks champagne) so I won't be going with white shoes! Either way, I was always told to have my shoes with me at my fitting so they get the hem height correct. I plan on having them before I get the dress, at least, I HOPE I do!

I wore silver strappy sandals with rhinestones on them.
Honestly, you don't see your shoes unless you lift up the dress - really.

I agree, I had white w/ a silver design in them.. I think my husband saw my shoes for the 1st time after the wedding..

I got my shoes so that I could try it on with the dress and make sure that I liked the height ect. Now I have to go back with a cut swatch from the dress and have them dyed to match. That's what I was told to do at the shoe store and bridal salon
