Hi Phyllis. You can take the Southern State out to Sunrise Highway. I believe that exit 56 on Sunrise is Broadway. Get off at Broadway and make a right at the light. There is the Flea Market. Not sure of the exit number, but it is definetely Broadway.

Has anyone gone to Broadway Favors in Massapequa??? Big selection? Is it worth a trip? Any luck?

the left side of the road and the church is on the right, correct?

Hi. I live in Massapequa. I went to Broadway favors for bridal shower favors for a friends shower. They have a huge selection but they werent very friendly. Maybe I caught them on a bad day. They do have a wide variety of favors so it might be worth the ride.

I'm not sure about a church. I know when you get off of sunrise on to the service road, you make that right onto Broadway and the parking lot is right there on your Right. I actually picked up my wedding band there yesterday (beautiful) I had to order another one because the one in the case (begets <--- spelling?) had a small flaw and the guy bought a new piece of beget and placed it in. I love my ring! My fiance got his there too at the same booth. Very accomodating, honest and my girlfriend went with me. She ended up buying a ring and two pairs of earrings. I don't know the name of the booth, but if you walk in the front door, go straight to the 2nd aisle, make a right and go down about 2 or 3 jewelry booths on the right. They have a tall display (Necklace) case on their corner. Run by a wonderful chinese couple. Everything in the case is half price from the price you see. I have about 6 begets with 2 tine princess diamond in between each beget. My ring was 370.00, My fiance bought a braided white gold band that was 360 and they gave it to him for 145 because we both bought our rings there. I was treated so good that I don't think I'd ever go anywhee else now. This couple used to be in the Busy Bee Flea Market in Massapequa and when that closed they came out here. They have been in business for over 10 years. Good Luck.

thanks for the advice. We went there about 2 weeks ago and stopped at every booth. We are looking for 2 tone bands white and yellow bands. what we found is many booths only had bands with stones in them. Som out of say 30 booths are choices are limited to 3. But that is ok! WE found an Artcarved ring that we both like. So we are off to see it again & order it.

If any of you are torn about the issue of B&G seeing each other before the Cer., understand where the superstition comes from. Centuries ago, marriages were arranged between 2 Fathers looking to swap land for some cows, or whatever. If the handsome prince got a look at the ugly daughter, he would blow the deal. Today that only remains as a superstition. A smart photographer lets the B&G have a few moments alone when they first meet. It is also a great time for some unobtrusive candids.

You have to get off at the exit for LINCOLN AVE. (there isn't one for Broadway-I go past there every day going home from work). It is the exit after passing a K-Mart on the left. Broadway will be the 2nd light. Ron & I got our rings there a few weeks ago - two tone white & yellow 14k, no stones, $250 or $275 for both. We went to Elegant Jewelry, first booth straight ahead when you go in the east entrance.

Good luck and let us know how you did.
