In order to benefit from AAA, do you have to have it?? Bc i dont think we have AAA. Ive booked with Orbitz, but i dont see any hotels that are in disney.

You do have to be a member but it's worth it. I'm a gold member and I pay $40 a year. I get free towing for up to 100 miles!

does anyone know exactly how much is the GF per night in November?? Roughly how much would a week-long honeymoon in disney be?? (including park passes and airfare?)

We stayed at GF last year for our HM in November for 5 nights before our week long cruise and I want to say it was like $4500-5K?

Re: Disney Honeymoon Thread.....Lots of info on every page!

Hey guys we just got back from our Disney honeymoon and it was incredible!!!!

I just wanted to share a little something with future honeymooners ....our friends gave us the Bride/Groom ears @ our wedding and they brought us TONS of magic! We were treated like royalty!

We were constantly pulled out of line and sent through the fast pass, or right to the front of the line, twice we were given our own boat so we could go on the ride alone. We were given free meals, desserts, drinks - it was unreal!!! When we were leaving animal kingdom and heading to the tram a cast member came up to us and offered us a personal ride out to our car aboard her golf cart!

Disney was so awesome, but those ears made it even better!!!! I highly recommend buying them! and if you go to Guest Services in any of the parks, they can give you a 'Just Married' pin :)

Have fun ladies!!!!

I am the worst person to ask. I always over pack way too much. I have a small suitcase just for my shoes. There is always a way to fit everything in with me. When we go I wanted to try those bags that suck the air out but I don't know how good they are. I felt I could fit more...haha

We tried those bags, but they don't do much for clothes - they are better for pillows or fluffy stuff.

We both packed really light, 1 dressy outfit, then a few tops and bottoms. The place we stayed had a washer/dryer in the room, so we were able to do laundry during the week. Let me tell you, coming home with suitcased filled with CLEAN clothes was awesome!!!

...I think I must be easy to please

Re: Disney Honeymoon Thread.....Lots of info on every page!

You can buy them in the parks, or I found a few places online

florist

bride ears

groom ears

The other thing we did was the Photopass - the Disney photographers are everywhere, you can have as many pics taken as you want and buy a CD of all of them for $125, plus you get 3 - 5x7's printed for free, it can be a really god deal if you get lots of pics taken.

is that when they give you a card ... then you give that card to every other photographer you go to in the parks?? i didnt know you can buy all of them for a set price.. that doesnt seem to be so bad.
thanksss sooo much for your help!! i got to check out those ears now!! yay!!

Yup, that's what the photopass is

it's just the groom ears that are $16, the bride ones were more.

GF was a few grand above what we wanted to spend total and that didn't include airfare yet but I did put in the dining plan.

I know you can use spas and eat at restaurants at any resort. So I'm wondering how much time you spend at the resort. I'd imagine you'd spend most of your time at the parks. It's a gorgeous hotel!!!

we are staying at one of the moderate hotels.. the port orleans riverside.. its still so beautful and alot cheaper.. we NEVER stay in the rooms.. we are always out at the parks, or walking around.

I guess it helps to be a DVC member

But Port Orleans is one of my favorite resorts on property.

My friend is a DVC member and we are actually planning to go with her in January. It's our graduation presents for ourselves and we are bringing the boys along with us!

I'm thinking of getting the annual park hopper pass since It's 99.99% we are going for the HM in October.

I have a feeling FH is going to want to become a DVC! LOL
