DJ's - 2 quick questions

Getting married in Sept at Sans Souci in Sea Cliff. Does anyone know of a non-cheesy DJ would basically plays the CD's that we give him/her? No chicken dance electric slide or all that other stuff, just straightforward: our music and dancing. Also, we have a friend who DJ's but no longer has his equipment, does anyone know of a place that just rents DJ equipment?

My fiance has no conception about music..so, I figured I would pick a song..and that way at least it will be meaningful to ONE OF US!

I just hired High Energy Entertainment from Ronkonkoma. He is awesome. He did my sister's wedding 5 years ago and received 4 bookings that day from her wedding. He play's whatever you wish him to play He sent me lists of music, and Check-Off's of what don't want, which included Chicken, Marcarena, Electric Slide. You just check off yes or no. He is a great guy. Just make sure you ask for Ralph to do the wedding.

The Harrison House is very nice. My company has had conferences there. The grounds are breathtaking and the food is excellent! They have a very interesting cocktail hour set-up with different rooms featuring differnet food. Also, since it is a hotel, it makes it sooo convenient for your out of town guests. Anyway, I hope this helps a little!
