Every wedding I have been in, the BM, MOH, GM all paid for their attire by themselves.

i believe that having the BP pay for their own attire is expected and is the norm. That's why we give them a present, as a small thank you for their part.

All the weddings I have ever been in I have always paid for my own dress. I thought that was to be expected of me.

I have been a bridesmaid in FOUR weddings and I have always paid for my own dress. You absolutely DO NOT have to pay for your bridesmaid's dresses!

I'm trying to find a somewhat inexpensive dress for my BM's. Especially since 2 of them are getting married right around the same time as me and will have their own wedding expenses to consider.....

this may have been previously stated, but if you ask someone to be in your bp, its assumed that they are responsible for their own dress/tux, shoes, hair etc. i would never expect the bride to cover the cost of my dress.

They're paying, especially since I'm giving them total control over their dress choice. They get to pick it out. I just have to approve of their final choice.

I have been in quite afew weddings and I have always paid for my own dress I don't think anyone shouldo r would expect you to pay for the bridal parties dresses and tuxes.
