that stinks! I thought working with the gov't it's an automatic day off anytime it's some sort of holiday. my friend works for the city public sector and she gets 20 holidays off on top of her PTO vacation days! while i got a ****** 6! :P

No way....I work for the gov't and we are required to work 5 holidays a year!!! I'm working Monday AND tues

Yes, I work for the County (Suffolk) so we only get Tuesday off.
