I dont live in an apartment but the house next door has band practice on Tuesday and Thursday nights till like midnight. My dogs bark at them because they are outside smoking all the time. Its SOOOO annoying.

I live in a PT house too.. and my whole block is full of old retired people..

I live in an attached house... and the neighbor next door is a part-time rapper/music promoter who just got a kareoke (sp?) machine! Ugh! I had to hear him ATTEMPT to belt out horrible renditions or Richard Marx (?) songs the other night! I can't wait to get a house far far away from people!

Our downstairs neighbors aren't loud they just don't know how to close a door quietly. Theyare constantly coming and going.

They also cook some really smelly food. I walk into the hallway and I get hit with the reallt potent smells.

Wow, this is funny, I actually thought about posting this the other night. I live in a pre-war building (very small apt.) If you are in the bathroom, you can here your neighbor's whole conversation, and she is really loud and annoying. My upstairs neighbor is an obsessive compulsive vacuumer, and the other neighbor sings at the top of his lungs and drives me nuts. I also can't wait to move!!!

Oh I can write a book about crazy neighbors. My first apartment the couple that lived downstairs physically fought eachother on a daily basis. I was calling the cops almost nightly in fear for the wife's life. I didn't stay there long needless to say, but when I went to their apartment to give my notice, I saw my couches that I put in the basement storage in their living room. I was like *** and they said sorry they were 'borrowing' them. That did not end up in a pretty scene.

The next aparment I could hear everything the landlord family did. There was no sound barrier at all and I was afraid to speak in my own house becuase I know they could hear me. I use to use my cell phone in my car lol. This husband and wife also fought all the time..screaming and yelling until the wee morning. After about 4 months the wife knocked on my door and asked me why i was so behind in my rent and I was like I'm not and showed her the reciepts. It turns out her husband had a coke problem and was using my rent to support his habit. Lovely. So I moved from there.

I then moved into a complex thinking it would be better, but i moved in beneath a crazy women. It turned otu she didn't beleive in any radio and tv and just read all day long and she would complain that I was too noisey. I was living alone and with work and travel I wasout of the house 14 hours a day. We had many confrontations and she use to call the cops all the time which in turn ticketed her for false police reports. She then went on the write the management company and told them I was a nuisance and had wild sex orgy partys and barked like a dog. I was like HOLY SUGAR....I wish i was having wild orgies lol. So the long and short of it is the management company kicked her out.

Now I have a very lovely older woman living upstairs and couldn't be happier lol. Whew!!!!
