Does your Lenox china have marker numbers on the back of your dishes??

Got some place settings...just wondering if these will wash off?

On the back of the dishes there are little number like '6' '2' and we called Lenox and they said it was during the inspection process...that they wash off.

Anyone have any experience with this?

Yes - mine do too - i ordered Kate Spade dishes (which are made by Lenox) and i had the same numbers - if you rub it out wiht a little water it comes out right away.
