Thanks for the post and the replies ladies. My girls dresses are blue pastel. I want the shoes to be silver but I didn't know if I should dye them silver or get any silver shoe. Now thanks to this post I think I will tell them open toe silver shoes. You are right dyeables suck and the silver ones can be worn again.

First I said dyables. Then I said silver but it wasnt because I didnt like dyables, it was because I thought they could get more use from silver shoes afterwards. how many dyable shoes can you make black?

My bridesmaid are wearing red tea length dresses and I am going to let them wear sliver open toe shoes.

I have a blue dress for my girls too (cornflower) and I told them they could wear silver shoes. No one sees them anyway and it is much less hassle for everyone this way.
