I got mine through State Farm too - also not through homeowners.
Same with me. It's a separate policy.

I insured my wife's ring through State Farm. Its a separate policy from the homeowners.

Great price.
I didnt insure mine yet, but I plan on doing it thru Jeweler's Mutual too. My appraiser recommended them to me as well.
