Re: early weddings
My ceremony is at 11:30 and the photographer told me he wanted to start taking pictures of me at 7am! AND he wants my makeup and hair to be done by then. bang:
that is BS! If you wake up at 5am, you'll fall asleep during the ceremony!
he'll just have to adjust his normal pix routine....

Spoke to my photographer... heres what he said (for my 11:30 am ceremony):
'Here’s how I see the photos going down; initially you’ll need to be ready by 9 am at the hotel. I think it’s unrealistic to expect you and the girls to be done with hair, makeup, putting on the dresses, etc, before that. So, if we are able to start at 9 am sharp I’ll need about a half hour or so at the hotel. Add travel time to the Crescent Beach Club and we’re already up to 10 or 10:30. Once you’re settled in there I’ll need at least another 45 minutes to an hour to complete the rest of the formal photos. That takes us up to the scheduled start time for the ceremony.'
HTH!
Wow thanks. Yeah - after hearing that most other people are starting at 8 or 9, I'm definitely going to talk to him. I would rather miss the CH than ask my bridal party to be ready that early. It just really upset me. Thanks everyone

.... just wanted to add that we are NOT missing the CH! We're taking our pics before the ceremony so that we won't have to miss our CH.... so that picture time includes everything! Talk to your photographer, because mine said that will be enough time for all of the pics, without having to take away any CH time!

Re: early weddings
My wedding is at 11 AM. My photographer is coming at 8. I'm getting 2 photogs so we can do most of our separate family shots before the church, and maybe even get to our own cocktail hour ( at 1).Welcome New Vendors
