We NEVER use paper plates!!!!
We dont' have a dishwasher, so it's sometimes a pain to wash all of the dishes by hand....but there's really no other option.
I see paper plates and plastic cups as sort of college dorm living....

Right now it's plastic, but when we move into a new place we'll be using regular plates again.

With paper plates when your home just by yourself? I use paperplates all the time (depending on the food) when we don't have company over...i don't have the time to be washing plates every night we use plastic cups too

I'm like the complete opposite. When it's just a few people or when I'm by myself, I use real plates and cups. When we have a lot of people over, we use paper and plastic plates and utensils (it makes cleanup a lot easier). The only exception to this are the holiday dinners

if paper plates and paper cups were free i would eat off them all the time, but right now we are too poor to be spending $$$ on them!

I said other, because I have been known to use paper when eating take-out. But most of the time we use the real plates.

I hate paper plates. I don't know but its like food doesn't taste the same when I use them.

Some things seem wrong on a nice plate, like a hamburger or fish sticks. To me its kind of like eating an ice cream cup without the flat wooden spoon that it comes with. It doesn't taste the same with real utensils!
