Engagement Party Ideas

Hey girls,

I just wanted to know if you girls could post so ideas from your own engagement party or something you saw. I am trying to get a head start on our planning....i would like to stick with cranberry and ivory colors. I think i am going to do the votive place cards for the engagement bc there arent as many people as at the wedding so i guess it will be less of a fire hazard...lol. Any ideas girls?

OoOo and i already got my engagement party dress and i loveeeeeeeeeeee it!!!!!!! Just wanted to share...lol

i just did balloons that were my wedding colors ...we didnt get that crazy with the decorations...but i do think if u wanna do a STD that you should give those as favors ...very practical...im sure ill think of some more things

What month is your Eparty? I have so many ideas...I am having mine in the month of January. I Usually ike to go by the month that you have it. January I figured the color blue and gold and pink. I am going to gift wrap boxes in those colors and decorate the room with them. You can do that with any colors you want. I want to have alot of chocolate and different types of candies and candles. Where are you having it? We are having ours at a pavillion so we can decorate however we want. I went to AC moore for the first time the other day and got so many ideas just from walking around the store and everything is so reasonable there!!!
