Engagement Party Invitations??
Hi. I think we have finally decided to have an engagement party well not really. We are really just having a party to celebrate that it is finally happening. We are also going to include on the invites not to bring gifts. Do you think it would be tacky to use store bought invites that I write the info in or if I went to the office supply store and bought nice paper and evelopes and printed them on my computer??? Please let me know what you think. We dont have time to have invitations "personally" printed. Thanks
OH! my head hurts!

Do you have a scanner? If so, you could scan a picture of the two of you into the invitation - and I think that it would be a much nicer invitation....but then I am all for the homemade look.

Engagement Party Invitations??
Hi Concetta, I know of a company that makes up personalized invitations and thank yous with or without your picture and would be able to make them up in just a couple of days. There e-mail address is: [email protected] or you can call them @ (631) 732-4462. Hope this helps! Patti
We went to Dante in Westbury. Mike the owner took excellent care of us. We spent about 1 hr there trying things on and then deciding what to do for the guys tuxes to. We had shopped around a bit but felt very comfortable dealing with him. we got 11 tuxes total-- 3 free and all the guys pay $99 for whatever style we wanted. This includes vests and shoes. I cant believe what prices other places are getting. Good luck to all.
You talk about insults and the sniping yet you felt the need to insult people here anyway. I have been using this site for quite a few months now and have received and given opinions and information I found valuable. I have not seen any of the animosity the 3 of you talk about, but I don't read every thread if the topic isn't something I need. Opinions such as these however, in my opinion should be kept off the board as it's not related to weddings. If you have a problem with how people respond or talk to each other, kepp that private and in email. We don't all need to hear about it.
Engagement Party Invitations??
It's also good to keep in mind that the turn around time on invitations is very quick. Without putting any rush on them you can have most invitations back in about one week after ordering them. There are also rush options in which you can have them in as soon as two or three days. Also many of the engagement invitations are very reasonable in price as well.
Good luck! Stephanie
