we didnt reg for our eparts ad we ended up getti gall cash except for 2 or 3 gifts...we got 5500 dollars it was very helpful as we had just boght a house

I am not registering for my e-party. I am having it in november and if people buy gifts the people coming know what I like. i wouldnt worry about that. Since I am not gettin married until 2008 I will register when it is closer so when i have my shower that is when people get gifts. I dont think it is tacky to register if you want but me and FH discussed it and we think it is better to wait.

Register, it is the lesser of two evils. Most will give you what you really need which is moulah but some will give gifts. Which at least will be what you picked out. And you can always add to your registry!

We didn't register for our engagement party. Actually, I was hoping for mostly money that I could put towards the wedding. We did get a few gifts though but at least they were nice gift.
