Hello ladies, I went to my florist the other day. What do u think about mango, yellow, and red callas for the bridesmaids bouquets? I don't have a pic, but she did and I thought they looked nice in front of wine colored dresses (which is what my BM's are wearing). Has anyone ever seen this used as bo-k?

Hey everyone! I'm a Fall bride too. We're getting married on November 11th, 2007 and our reception is at the Woodbury Country Club. Although I thought about doing a fall themed wedding, I personally LOVE the color purple and decided to move away from the Fall theme for that reason. My bouquet is gonna be purple roses with mini lilac cala lillies and stephonotis with pearls (in my album), my matron of honor will have a bouquet similar to mine only smaller and she's wearing a lavender gown. My 5 bridesmaids are carrying white roses and their dresses are going to be a deep purple. And then FH came up with a really cool idea for the centerpieces. The Woodbury Country Club is giving us a martini bar during the cocktail hour but then upon discussion, we explained that we were gonna probably bring in an outside wedding cake instead of using theirs. So, in order to compensate for the cake, FH asked if we could extend the martini bar throughout the reception and they said that we could definitely work something out. So now, for our wedding, we are doing a martini theme, naming all the tables a different martini and coordinating the flowers according to what color the martini for that table is. This way, it eliminates people feeling slighted about being put at Table 15 and it was just a cool idea. And then, to take it one step further, we are going to give out as favors a martini shaker and martini mix with our names on it (only on the mix packet, not on the shaker). I'm so excited! I didn't really want a theme at first but I loved the idea of the martini centerpieces and now I absolutely love the idea. FH comes up with some great ideas even though he sometimes acts disinterested. He's just so wonderful...LOL

Hi all-

I'm a fall bride too. I'm getting married 9/22 at the Crest Hollow Country Club. I'm not doing a complete fall theme but I'm incorporating/stealing hehe some of these ideas for the ceremony.

We're doing it outdoors so I hope the trees are starting to change colors!!
