I used one from a french singer lets just put it this way when i heard this song i cried, my mom cried my dad cried everyone at the wedding cried

He sings this song in french and in english

'To My Daugter'.

Its about how his daugter will grow up to marry a stranger and take her away and how he will always be there for her.
This song was perfect for my father and daughter dance i wanted something very different.

I went to a wedding last weekend, and the song they played was Buttlerfly Kisses, i forgot who sings it,

My Dad and I danced to 'Somewhere over the Rainbow' Johnny Mathis & Ray Charles. - It's a very dramatic version......not at all 'Judy Garland' .....but I wanted to do something that didn't sound like 'OK, got married and now i'm never going to see my dad again......' - Father/Daughter dance songs are always SO depressing and have the whole room crying........

Both of you girls made me cry with those lyrics..
The words are beautiful.
I'll have to listen to both songs but my dad's a big Fiddler on the Roof fan and I know that he would love Sunrise Sunset.
