I forgot about Scrooged! Great movie... I saw Love Actually, but forgot what is was about - can someone remind me???

It's a bunch of love stories that all happen to take place around Christmastime. It really isn't much of a Christmas movie, just one that happens at Christmastime, you know? Hugh Grant plays the Prime Minister of England and he falls for a staffer, and Liam Neeson plays a widower who's son is lovesick for a girl at school, and Colin Firth plays a jilted writer who goes to France to escape Christmas with his family (his brother stole his girlfriend) and falls for the Portuguese girl who keeps house for him, etc etc.

OH, and Alan Rickman and Emma Watson play a couple that's been married awhile and Rickman is sort of cheating on Watson. Seriously fantastic movie.

BTW, you can (and should) call this a Christmas movie thread. After all, how many good Chanukah movies are there?

(answer - Possibly two, but I haven't seen either of them)

OH YEEeeaaahhh - I did see Love Actually - I vaguely remember it...

I was joking when I said Holiday movie - it's a spin-off from everyone complaining that Xmas has been taken away and replaced with Holiday (Happy holidays, Holiday tree, etc...)

I guess noone got it, huh?
