I wouldn't care either...I am expecting it.

My biggest thing that I have told him and he completely respects is that I don't want them to get women to come to them. They can go to a strip club or wherever they want and he can get as many lapdances as they buy for him BUT I think it is disgusting when guys rent a hotel room and have girls come to them. At least in a club there are groundrules and people to monitor the nastiness!

I can say I don't care now, but when/if it happens, I'll probably change my mind. However, it depends on what venue both parties set up for the bride and groom. If his friends go to a strip club and my friends bring me to a male review, I really can't get mad at him since I'll be in the same situation.

An ex-BF of mine had a lap dance and I didn't care. That is until I saw the movie 'Showgirls' with Elizabeth Berkley and realized exactly what a lapdance entails. (I was very naive and thought lapdances were far more innocent) I would definitely be upset if DH had gotten a lapdance and he knows it. But to each his own. If it doesn't bother you and both of you are cool with it, that's all that matters.

Hi,

You shouldn't go by the movie Showgirls. That wasn't a normal lapdance. She was paid a few hundred dollars to do a special lap dance in the back room of a sleezy Vegas joint. I think most lapdances are a little more innocent than that. Also, the bouncers stand by and the guys can't even touch the girls so basically they just have a little T&A in their face and it's over. Haha!

I've been to strip clubs with my guy friends and I've even had lap dances from women, and trust me, they're not like Showgirls! Yes they're sexual, they're supposed to be, but it's really not that bad, atleast in my opinion.

It really is not bad at all. There are bouncers all around and the girls have the strictist rules at a professional club. They never even can touch the patrons. It's just like some of the girls said- also they are not seeing the full lower half at all. The girls are gorgeous usually and would have no interest in our guys anyway. They dance for one minute in front of them and it is over. The suckers are out 20 bucks or something.

FH insists he doesn't want strippers (which I don't believe) but I really don't care! He could have a million lap dances that night if thats what he wants to do! I trust him, otherwise I wouldn't be marryin him! It's one night, maybe their relationship has problems beyond what you know.

I wouldn't necessarily be thrilled b/c I'm not big on the whole strip club scene, but I trust him 100%, so if that's what his GM do, then so be it. IMO if someone is going to be unfaithful, they don't need to go to a strip club, to do it... it can happen anywhere. But as I already stated, I trust FH 100%, and if I didn't then I wouldn't be marrying him.

Plus, as someone else already pointed out, the clubs are totally professional and there are bouncers everywhere to make sure things don't get crazy.

I think it all depends on the relationship people have with their spouses, any bad history with these things, etc. JT thinks lap dances are unsanitary and is afraid some disease may transfer itself from the stripper to him, so I don't know how I would feel if all of a sudden he got one. not that strange, my husband was so grossed out by the one he wnet to for his friend's bachelor party.
