By the way I hear you on it, fh wants a new pick up truck, but since my life savings went into the down payment of our house and I am in school full time changing careers I told him NO WAY. Not until I have a real salary and we have paid for our honeymoon and all the changes we are doing to our house.

I really want to know how he reacts, keep us posted.

Wow....
I am in a simular situation with FH... not as large money-wise, but he has his friends old car that suposidly has meaning to him...whatever...so I was thinking of selling this junker b4 he noticed...HAHA. I didn't work up the nerves yet...lOL

I think its nice that he respects your feelings and your right it had to be done. Glad it all worked out for you. Good luck selling it, hope you get it sold.

I am learning that it is important to set limits. I am glad that your FH realized that he was not being fair to you. Hopefully he will turn over a new leaf. Do not beat your self up over this...sometimes you have to do something drastic to get the point across.
