25 extra pp is ridiculous!!! That's an 'extra' that really isn't necessary.. im sure there are TONS of other amazing choices and believe me noone will miss the filet!!

thats crazy! I have filet Mignon with shrimp (Land & Sea) for one of the beef choices & chateu briand as the regular steak choice. Nothing was extra.

$25 extra is crazy, I can understand $10-15, but that sounds like a rip off.

Filet Mignon is included at my RH.. but if it wasn't there is no way I would pay $25pp for it!! Prime rib is just fine!

That is ridiculous - If I was you I would have tried ot negotiate that from the start - I did with Lobter Tails -
I am getting Prime Rib and Filiet Mignon - No extra charge

thats crazy. I certainly wouldnt pay $25 extra. I think $5 to $10 extra is fine, but I really dont think its necessary.

I don't expect filet at weddings. If its there, great, if not, I won't thinnk anything of it. Won't even cross my mind.

forget the filet mignon---that's a RIDICLIOUS price to pay extra....they are giving you the shaft.

i do NOT think less of a wedding if i see prime rib--for me personally i think prime rib is a much more flavorful piece of meat....filet mignon can seem 'fancy' but if its not made properly it can be very plain!

If you really want it, try to negotiate. Ask them to throw it in or offer to pay a fraction of it.

I'm not a big steak eater, but I would have no idea about different cuts. I doubt most people would.
