First Anniversary plans?

My DH and I are going on a cruise in August. Our anniversary is in October but I am a teacher and I can not take off again in October. My honeymoon was approved by the district but I dont want to push my luck. So we are going away the week of the 20th -27th. This will be our precelebration of our anniversary. We are going to Belize, Isla Roatan, Cayman Islands and some part of Mexico. I cant wait. For Columbus Day weekend we may go to a cabin somewhere.

We always said that if we went somewhere tropical for our HM, we would go to Europe for our first anniversary. DH wanted to go to Germany, but I talked him into Italy! Rome and another city TBD.

We are going on a cruise the week after our anniversary.

For our anniversary, I'm going to have the bakery that made our cake create a small (one-layer) replica cake. (We ate the part you are supposed to save on the first Saturday night in our new home.)

We'll do dinner and maybe some vacation clothes shopping.

Over and done with...so sad! We spent a long weekend at the Harrison House out in Glen Cove. We spent our 1st night as man and wife there!

We planned to take a trip to Europe, but, we are now in the process of buying a home. If we get the house, we plan to go back to the OWG to take pics (I know we're crazy) and spend a weekend in the city.

If the house falls through, well...I guess you can tell what you plan to do!
