Floral Terrace

Anyone having their reception at the Floral Terrace. I am looking for both GOOD and BAD experiences as a guest as well.....I know I am asking for trouble with some of you, but I am in need of information and know most of us can exchange info without killing eachother.

Thanks

Floral Terrace

I was in a wedding at floral terrace this past August- EVERYTHING was excellent! The food was out of this world and there was a lot of it!! They offer one of the bigggest cocktail hours for the money- the service was wonderful as well. I would have booked my wedding there because I really felt they offered you the most for your money- but I wanted to have a different place from my friend. The bride did not have one complaint about her day! I would highly recommend it!

I dont want to knock any vendors but my best friend used Burtons last June for her wedding. I will just say one thing. When they delivered the bridesmaids bouquets to her house she broke out in tears. They were all wrong. They were suppose to be a rainbow effect (light to dark pink roses) well the dark roses were in the middle and they looked like bullseyes. The florist started to pull out the flowers on her dining room table to rearrange them. What a disaster. My friend said she wouldnt reccomend them to anyone. Hope this helps (We had trauma with our dressess too)

Just a tip...

Floral Terrace

Hi I attended a wedding there last winter. It was great. The food was really good and I loved the raised dance floor. The room is beautiful and can accomodate alot of people. The only thing I didnt like was the fact that it was on a main road but other than that I really liked it.

Just a tip...

Floral Terrace

I just had my wedding at the Floral Terrace in November and MY GOD THEY ARE THE BEST!!!! My guests are still talking about it. If you go , try to see Jimmy. He is such a great guy and a big help. And Andreas, who is the owner i think, i wanted him IN MY BRIDAL PARTY. Thats how wonderful and helpful and caring these guys are. My day was perfect and evertime I turned around I had either a girl in back of me fixing my veil or gown or one of the maitre'ds (SP?) making sure everything was ok. I was greeted by them as soon as I pulled up and was taken care of until I left. They are even in my wedding video and I wanted it that way, like they were my guests. Please check this place out, I cant say enough about it. They made it the best day of my life. The food was great too.

David and Goliath..good analogy and you are right. I have the name and how to contact for consumer advocates because that was my next step with this place. A crying bride breaks my heart because I was just there not too long ago and cryed because of the same person. I dont know how he sleeps at night.

They tried to order a dress that was two sizes too large for me (I know the dresses run small but give me a break I'm not that stupid). I had to insist on them ordering the size I wanted. Luckily I was right, otherwise the alterations necessary would have been like making a new dress. I think they did that to try to get more money by making it a plus size dress.I ended up having my dress altered elsewhere because they wanted to do the first fitting the week of the wedding.
