Florist Help!

So I have an appointment today with burtons. I made an appointment for next week with Bella flowers in Huntington. I am also trying to get an appointment with black dahlia. Hidden essence is booked on my date. Does anyone have any other reccomendations for florists?

The florist I'm using is in Brooklyn but does weddings in LI all the time. I love him. Let me know if you want his info

I only met with Burtons. But I also heard great things about Pedestals. My cousin met with Flowers by Brian after already putting a deposit down on Burtons, but she said the quote she was given was 2-3 times more than what Burtons gave her.

I met with Wicks in Baldwin and they were about $500 cheaper than the quote I got for Burton's. I can send you my quote if you want! Let me know!

I booked with Bella Flowers in Huntington. Had an amazing appointment with Ronnie! Then I met with Michelle from Hidden Essence and she came in at essentially the same price.

In the end, she was willing to negotiate a bit more, but my mom loved the gold, metallic spiral pedastal that Bella Flowers has and Michelle doesn't (she only does glass but you can rent others from her).

I met with Flowers by Brian..they start off quoting you way higher and then give you a 'courtesy discount' of 10%....which I think is bogus. Don't pretend like you're doing me a favor. And still ended up being at least $500 more than Bella and Hidden Essence. But Flowers by Brian includes an arrangement for where ever you're getting ready at. I'm sure I can get one cheaper than $500 from Bella.

We booked with Pedestals, and we met with Burtons and FBB as well. For the difference in price between Burtons and Pedestals, the quality of the work as well as the professionalism shown by who we met with from each vendor, Pedestals far exceeded. It is a bit more, and we are not flower people to begin with, but I couldn't bring myself to go with Burton's after the experience we had when we went to our appointment. Best of luck.
