Florist - Queens

Hi all, can anyone recommend a florist in Queens? How much should I expect to pay for a centerpiece?

Good Luck!

Georgewood on NOrthern & 158Street in Flushing has beautiful flowers and always does a nice job. I'm not sure how much a centerpiece would cost (mine are included in my package). I live locally and always go there when I need to send someone a flower arrangement.

If the decor is your style, then I think it might be a worthwhile choice.

Florist - Queens

Grand Florist in Maspeth Queens is by far one of the best Florists in Queens. They have done all of my sisters and brother's wedding flowers and will now be doing mine. They have done business with my family for years. Since I was kid. I suppose being my dad was a funeral director and we always had different florists from all the boroughs there and Grand was by far one of the best. Here is there phone number if you should decide to check them out 718-326-1090. Tell them I referred you!

If the decor is your style, then I think it might be a worthwhile choice.

jacqueline, karen, annmarie.....i highly recommend jack&rose florist and decorators....around 50 years....they are not a funeral florist doing funeral flowers amist a wedding to fit in ......they do predominately weddings!!!!!! yes you can buy flowers at retail too....but they are probably the only ones in queens that are mainly a weeding florist but with excellent experience....they were on the lifetime network last week for a segment of "weddings of a lifetime".....i wouldn't trust anyone else to do my wedding.....i've been to 6 florists wasting my time until i was recommended to see them...good luck

We decided on Nick's in the town of Montauk. It is a great spot if you are having a small (we are having about 110)wedding. We rented the second floor which is mostly all windows looking out onto the ocean.Claire & Nick are so nice to do business with and the food is great.

There is an entrance to the beach just outside the restaurant. We are having our ceremony there.

Thanks...but just as you feel about your florist, I feel the same about mine. No one can do better tham them(in my opinion). Thanks for the info however.

Actually when I called Davids Bridals alterations department I only told her that the wedding was the weekend before it actually was. She told me I needed to come down to be fitted asap.

I never expected it to be ready so soon! Even though the dress was a little big it didnt need too much alterations (it still cost me 75$)

Well Ladies Saturday is my big day!! Wish me luck!! I just wanted to thank everyone here for a great nine months of planning. My BIG DAY has finally arrived and with you help, advise and tips I am sure that it will go off without a hitch. I will be back after my honeymoon to tell you all how it went! I will try to pop in on the board tomorrow, to let you know how thing are going. I picked up my dress today, and most of my out of town guests have arrived. Tomorrow I will just relax and wait for the rehearsal. Only 34hours left!!

Try a place called Money Savers on Flatbush Avenue in Marine Park (between Ave P & Quentin). They have a really good selection and are very helpful.
