Flower Girl Gift

Does anyone have any ideas for gifts for a flower girl. My cousin, who is 6 will be my flower girl. She is very special to me and I was her mother's flower girl 23 years ago. I would love to get something special. I can't buy her a cross on a chain because she is not christian. Any ideas? I want to give her something to remember.

Flower Girl Gift

A nice gift idea for a flower girl that age is a beautiful porcelain doll. It's something they can keep and enjoy and will also increase in value.

Good luck, Stephanie

Of course you can change the wording to make it however you would like but the parents names should be on seperate lines if they are divorced rather than on one line like the grooms parents, which shows a married couple.

Stephanie, that is so funny that you said that. I was going to write this in the first message, but didn't. My centerpieces are 2 12" porcelain angels holding boquets of flowers that light up. For the holidays this past December, I sent her a set and told her I wanted her to have the very first set I bought. She absolutely loves them and lights them every night before she goes to bed. Maybe I should have held them back and waited. Any other ideas?

Ultimately, you should choose items that you like and will enjoy having as part of your wedding!

Flower Girl Gift

That is funny:-) Here are some other ideas:

They make beautiful ornate jewelry boxes in all styles...I got one that is a hand painted musical one with a dancing ballerina as a kid and I still have it. You can find them on line or in a specialty gift store.

Another nice idea would be a collectible snowglobe. They make really beautiful ones...especially the disney catalog...they have cinderella and alice in wonderland. That is also something that will increase in value and that most girls would enjoy having.

Thanks a bunch! The Disney snow globe sounds great and I can probably personalize it on the bottom. Thanks for the help.

Peace.

Any ideas? He is 6 also.

Actually Rachel, I just posted to Lorraine that we decided on the Jericho Terrace. I have heard the mixed reviews on this board, but my fiancee and I are happy and that's all that counts! :)

PS:Yours is at the Metropolitan right? Ohhh, I love that place...great ambiance. Good Luck.

Boys are tougher to find gifts for. If he is into sports you might want to get him something collectible from his favorite team. Also nice is a model of some sort or a train set.

Good luck, Stephanie

Great ideas!!! Thanks.

My sister used Maria Celeste for her wedding 2 1/2 years ago. She was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! I can't say enough about her pictures, her professionalism, and her photography style. I would have loved to use her for mine, but unfortunately, her prices went up and it was too over my budget. But if you have the means, I definately recommend her! Good luck!

PLEASE let's just stop and get on with a pleasant friendly sharing of information.
