FOCCUS TEST REVIEW!!!!

Okay, so FH and I took the Foccus test at St. Joseph's in Babylon on Tuesday night! It wasn't as nerve racking as I thought it was gonna be...But scan trons still make me nervous after all these years!! It took me about 40 mins to take the test, while my fh took a bit longer.

Who has taken the Foccus test?? I have to say some of those questions were very inappropriate!!! 1/2 the test was on sex! One of the first questions was asking us if we agree that a strong sexual relationship in a marriage is important..What the hell???..It then went on discussing about sexual preferences!!! My FH and I were separated, but even though we were it sounds like we had the same questions. I only had a few unsure, only because I didn't understand what they were asking me!!! Some of them were trick questions and they kept going back to pregnancy. Then they shifted to money, family, careers, then back to the sex questions to god, then back to more sex questions..I swear!!! It was all in fun but I wasn't expecting those questions to be asked!!!!..LOL

Any thoughts here ladies??

I think it's part of the Pre-cania. It is given out by the church. It's not a pass/fail. It just shows how you both feel about different subjects. But there was no need for all the sex questions..it is unheard of and so inappropiate!!! I think it's given out by the catholic church, but I am not sure it could be all churches!

we did the test and we aced it!!! the deacon actually said .. get married tomorrow!!!

Yep, you get the same identical questions. The reason there are so many questions about sex and pregnancy is those are BIG issues in a marriage...if one wants kids the other doesnt,etc. They want you to be aware of your partners thoughts before you enter a marriage without that knowledge. Me and DH spoke about this before FOCCUS and we agreed...but lets say for example I didnt want children and he did and we never REALLY spoke about it-youd feel trapped in a marriage that wasnt giving you ALL the things you want out of it.

Its more so that they can make sure that you both are on the same page with everything

Glad I wasn't alone on this one!!! I couldn't believe all the sex questions...it was ridiculos!!!!
