You guys make me feel sooooooo good!!! Thank you!!! I am truly blessed..for people like you offering such support and saying such nice things and to be able to adopt these boys, I am so happy right now. I never expected this...if you would have told me a year ago that Id be adopting two older boys from Ethiopia..I would have never believed you...this has been amazing!!!
We have more good news today, my sister still has the twins, she went in last week and their was only one heart beat, the DR. told her to expect to lose one of the babies, but when she went in today, there were TWO heartbeats and it was determined that the baby with no heartbeat last week must have implanted a few days later and thats why there was no herat beat. Its amazing..Ive never heard of this..but am so thrilled for my sister. Now if we can just get rid of my husbands tumor once and for all..we'll be smooth sailing! Thanks again everyone!!!

WOW!!!!!!!!! I am so happy for you on the two boys and how quickly things are moving for you BUT I MUST MUST MUST POST on the AMAZING NEWS of your sister.....the dr. told me that there was no h/b on my baby and that we were going to loose her and SHE WAS SO WRONG! WHen i read what you posted just now I cryed tears of happiness, just brings back very very very emotional feelings! I am so happy for you, your sister and her husband and your family!

I have to take both of them..Im too in love to only take one! Believe me, one would be much cheaper, but at this point, I cant turn back..Ive got them both in my mind. I saw these boys ina video of waiting children in Ethiopia..they both caught my eye, they are just so cute.. and then I thought it would be so scary to come to America all alone and if he they had each other, they could get through school easier, they could help each other keep their native language and they wouldnt feel so alone, I can only assume that its a terrifying experience coming to live with two stangers who speak a completely differnt language, they dont even have running water in some parts of Ethiopia, it will be shocking at first here..so i thought it would just be nice for them to have each other, plus I love them both, theres no way I could take just one boy!I need both of those little cuties! YEA! This will be the best summer of my life!!! I hope I have them by Mother's day!!! How cool!!!
My sister and I were laughing, we are both expecting TWO children, she is having twins and Im adopting the two boys! My mom is thrilled!!!

I can't wait to hear more! Every time I read your posts about these boys it brings tears to my eyes and such joy that there are such loving and caring people in this world like you and your DH. I wish you a lifetime of happiness and love for your entire family. I can't wait to see pics and to hear all about their expierences here. Have a wonderful holiday and I will keep my fingers crossed that these months will go quickly for you so that you will be able to bring home the boys soon!

I dont know you personally but I had to write and offer my sincere congratulations to you and your husband. Your sons will be welcomed into a loving household full of laughter and support - what more does a child need?

I read that your sons are big soccer fans - I'm a HUGE european soccer fan, so I thought I'd offer you some soccer lingo to bring you up to speed!

Biruk and Paulos are probably fans of David Beckham - arguably the most famous player in the world - he's from England and plays for Real Madrid (the BEST team in the world in my opinion). Beckham plays alongside Luis Figo (Portugal), Michael Owen (England) Zinedane Zidane (France), Ronaldo (Brazil).

I'm sure you'll be a fantastic mom - and now that you have some football lingo - you'll be the hippest one too!!!

yup - Posh spice is married to David Beckham!

I lived in Ireland for a year and got really really into football - and it's huge in Africa as well. African teams dont get nearly the international attention that European teams do, so I'd be willing to bet that your sons know a lot about european teams like Manchester United and Real Madrid.

The best African team playing right now is Cameroon. I dont know much about Ethiopia's team - but I'll check them out for you!

By the way - how do you pronounce your sons' names?

Hope that makes sense! They are the cutest little things! Big brown eyes and gorgeous smiles. I can hardly believe I'll have such gorgeous sons!
