Thats a good idea, to leave it open, its so pretty i wouldnt want to cut a hole in it.

Maybe once you get a couple of cards you can put them in there, I think people will get the hint

I agree as well. I really like the chest and would want to reuse it so thanks for all the suggestions to leave it open!

you could also print something like card box or a little poem and tape it to the inside of the cover

Also a great idea Ryan, thx...I was also thinking if I leave it open Ill just print a litttle something to let guests know, but i love the idea of putting a poem on the inside of the top part.

Also think the chest is beautiful! I'm sure you can just leave it open and people will get the hint. It would be a shame to cut a hole in it.

we actually ordered them through now-and-forever.com but only bc they were having a major sale so we took advantage of that, but you can buy them through many different online stores. theyre called 'bloom invitation' and they are in the color Mist, but they have a bunch of other color options for it too! theyre so reasonable and this was a major budget area for me and fh, we just couldnt see wasting a ton of our money on something that will ultimately be thrown away when it could go to some other part of our wedding, ya know. But to each his own!! I thought these were super cute, and fit our colors and theme pretty well, so it worked for us.
