Greek ladies

Did you help your koumbaroi pick out the stefana & lambades or did you let them pick whatever they liked? And how far in advance did you get it and where from? Sorry for all the q's

I forgottt about thissssssss! I guess my koumbara will pick it out with her Mom. They have good taste, I trust them.

I told my koumbara the same thing, to go with her mom, because I dont really care what they look like. But she looked really confused.

I think they are getting them from 3 angels in huntington, or some place in astoria.....

I think they are picking them out themselves.....I trust their taste

When I was a koumbara 2 years ago, we used the 3 angels lady in huntington........I think I ordered everything around nov/december for her February wedding?

my koumbara asked me to come with her to pick everything out, otherwise i dont think i would have said anything to her... we're gonna order stuff something before july 18th cuz shes leaving for greece and just wants everything set in place... theres a place in astoria she wants to go, dont know the name sorry i could find out though

I went with my koumbara and I pretty much picked what I wanted. We went 2 weeks ago but there is no rush, we just went cause she was in town.

We hit up a few places in astoria. First place was called Kentrikon Noufaro it was on the corner 31st and23rd road. It was way overpriced. Then we went to Astron which had some nice ones and much more reasonably priced. They are on 31st just past 23rd ave.

We ended up getting them from 'Hellenic Gifts' which is on 23rd ave and 31st street, across from Lefkos Pyrgos (if your familiar). They had a large selection.

All these places are withing 3 blocks of eachother. There is also Markellas in astoria but I didnt go there so I dont know how they are.

yes I have heard of kentrikon noufaro - my cous who got married there got her favors from there. The wrapping was gorgeous!

half my favors didnt have the personalized ribbon

she spoek to FH like a dog.. and fh was ready to curse her out



when i went to order the favors.. she asked me how i wanted them wrapped. i told her, she said its ugly that way... so i asked her how SHE would wrap them...and she told me 'no hunny, you're the bride...its what YOU WANT'

then why the FKKKKKK did u tell me MYW AY is ugly!?!?!?


i had to walk out the store and calm down b4 crying or punching her in the ovaries

did they doa good job wrapping? EHH yea i guess

they used netting.. the bottoms on a lot of them were freyed and again.. half the favors didnt have personalized ribbon.

so i wouldnt go back to them


plus they didnt help us carry the boxes to the car. they were more concerned eating their cheeseburger deluxes.


if i had a business i would help customers with boxes. just common courtesy

our Koumbarra went with her mom to pick out the Lambades and the Boubouneires she went somewhere in Whitestone

3 angels burnt down right around easter- im still waiting on her to reimburse me for the $$ i had put down for a christening 3 months ago.. i wouldnt trust her.....imo....

There is a website that has really pretty stuff- she is out in long island..and her stuff is so reasonable..fm me if u girls want i can look for it again and let u know..
