Yes, it's normally done at the wedding in addition to the regular cake.

It's an old tradition that was usually just done in the South, but has been regaining popularity everywhere lately. Mostly because we don't let the groom have anything else

I'm not sure of the costs.

They are usually about $150 to $200 (that's what I got quoted at least!)

That's funny. Maybe I should do that. I took FH to look at Tuxedos.. basically he said what we all like to hear- 'Whatever you like best hun'

I'm letting him have is hummer limo if he wants. If we can't get that I'll get him a hummer cake maybe.

I am not doing it at the wedding, but at the rehearsal dinner/BBQ we are having 2 nights before wedding - I want to do it because I feel like weddings are so about the bride and it would be nice that FH can have a surprise!
